What else does the price include? Complimentary champagne for the bridal table, cake service, waived room rental and specific picture locations overlooking the golf course are a few highlights of the items included in the price. You will be able to select from many different linen napkin colors and white, black or ivory for your table linens. Also included in the price are skirting for the appropriate tables (gift table, cake table, head table, DJ table, cookie table, buffet tables) china, water glasses, room set-up and clean-up following the reception will be taken care of by our staff. Do I have to have a minimum number of guests? No, you do not have to have a minimum number of guests but need to reach a minimum monetarily. We require events on Saturdays between May 1st and September 30th to spend a minimum of $3,000.00 in the Party Tent or $750.00 in the Vista Room before tax and gratuity. Friday and Sunday weddings, or weddings between October 1st and April 31st, have no minimum amount required. Is there a discount if I have my reception on a Friday or Sunday? Yes, there will be savings of 10% on all food and beverage if you decide to have your reception on Friday or Sunday. When do I need to have my final guest count and payment to you? One week before the wedding reception you will need to provide the guaranteed guest count from which we will calculate the balance due. Full payment is expected at this time. The half of the $500.00 deposit does go towards the balance due and the other half will be used if needed to cover any incidentals, the balance will be refunded to you within two weeks. What is the gratuity and tax rate? To each of the food and beverage menu items add 18% gratuity and 6% sales tax as noted on the bottom of each menu page. There is tax on the gratuity per the State of Ohio. What is your cancellation policy? In the event of cancellation, the deposit will be forfeited unless Club Legends can reserve the facility for another wedding. Cancellations occurring within seven days of the event will be refunded 50% of the total bill paid. Do you provide a dance floor? We do not provide a dance floor. You must rent one from any outside company. If we need to set it up there is a fee. Does the bar close during our dinner? No, the bar remains open. When can I come to decorate? You are able to come in and decorate any time during the day starting at 9am because the tables will be arranged and ready for your party favors and centerpieces. We do not allow any decorations to be stuck on the walls or ceiling (no tape, tacks, etc.). Can I bring in my own centerpieces? Yes, or you can use our centerpieces. If there is an open flame, you must have a dish or mirror underneath them. Can I have my own DJ, Photographer and Cake Designer? You are more than welcome to have any DJ, Photographer or Cake Designer of your choice. We do not have an exclusive deal with any outside companies. Can we take any left over food home? You are not permitted to take any left over buffet food home. Where can I go for photos? The course itself is not available for pictures, however specific course shots are predetermined. Can I have just my ceremony at your location? Yes, you can have the ceremony only here. You do not have to have the reception as well. Is there a charge for cake cutting? No, we do not charge to cut and serve your wedding cake. Can I make advance payments for the reception? Advance payments, although not required, are accepted. Is there a certain time that we must be out of the clubhouse? Liquor service ends no later than 12:30 a.m. and the reception must completely come to an end by 1:00 a.m. Is your facility handicap accessible? Yes. Is valet parking available? We do not offer valet parking. Can I provide my own food? As a full-service facility all food can be provided by us with the exception of wedding cakes. If you wish to use outside catering for food, please see our Banquet Sales Manager for all details and prices. All beverages must be provided through Club Legends, no exceptions. Do I need to be a member of The Legends of Massillon/Club Legends? You do not need to be a member or be sponsored by a current member.
