Dick We play over 25 different courses within 50 miles of Akron, ie The Quarry, Boulder Creek, Grey Hawk, Aurora, Kennsington, Prestwick CC, Shale Creek just to mention a few of the great local courses. We all agree that The Legends is right up there with the best of the best. Great job!
Scott Winans We had a 27 hole Ryder Cup outing between Goodyear and PricewaterhouseCoopers (our auditors) at your course this past weekend. This is an annual outing we started 4 years ago that we have at a course that we select somewhere in northeast Ohio. The first 9 holes was a 2 man scramble, the second 9 was 2 man best ball and the last 9 was individual play. Goodyear (green) was able to take the cup back from PWC (blue) with a 12-4 win. The course was in wonderful shape. Most of the golfers are from the Cleveland area and this was their first time on the course but were so impressed at the quality for the reasonable price that they will be back again at some point.

Mike July 2 Just played at The Legends for the first time and will definitely go back. One of the nicest public courses around. The greens were in excellent condition. This course has a country club feel and is a real value when you use the site.

Dave July 30 I played this course on Thursday July 24. The course is in great shape! The greens are in great shape. The overall course is very nice for a course that is run by the city. The staff was friendly and the starter went our of his way to give us some hints on the course. It was only a 75 minute drive from Youngstown and well worth it.
Rick August 13 If you are anywhere close to this course then its a must play. With 27 holes the place of play is nice, plus each 9 has a uniqueness to it, so it's never boring. The staff is great and course is in very nice condition. The greens are huge, so don't be afraid to fire past most of the pins. (I left myself way too many 40 footers short of the pin). There is plenty of water and creeks that run across the fairways, so you have to think your way around this course a little more, which like. KUDOs to a city run course that has pride in their product.

Played this course on 8/15 and enjoyed both layout and conditioning. Excellent value. Greens are challenging, very large with plenty of undulation.

We recently golfed in Myrtle Beach and your course and greens are in better condition that any course we golfed. Also, just a week ago we golfed at a local course and we will not be going back anytime soon because of the conditions. Greens and fairways were all burned out.
