As we wind up another great season of golf here at The Legends of Massillon, we can truly say that we have the BEST customers around! We've thoroughly enjoyed being the "place to play" in 2009 and can't wait to welcome you all back in 2010.
The last day for golf at the Legends this year is Sunday, November 15th. There's still time to golf this week, and we've made it easier than ever to book your tee times. Just visit our website at www.thelegends.com to reserve your tee time.
We are scheduled to reopen on Monday, March 15, 2010, weather permitting. Check out our website this winter for updates on rates, season passes, internet specials, special events and other news at www.thelegends.com.

PGA Professional Doug Lemons will be conducting several Golf programs in January, February and March for adults, home-schooled students and juniors at The Massillon Recreation Center. These programs typically meet once a week for four weeks and will be 60-90 minutes in length. Also instructing on Doug's staff will be PGA professional Dave Dinan, Former Head Professional at Firestone C.C., Bob Baker, PGA Apprentice and David Downey, ATC, CSCS, TPI (Titleist Performance Institute) Certified Instructor.
Here is a brief description of some of the programs.
Learn how to play the game including full-swing, chipping, putting, rule and etiquette.
Improve your Game with PGA Golf Instruction and a Customized Golf Fitness Program to maximize performance. (Intermediate and Advanced Golfer)
Ladies learn to play in a fun, "no fear" enviroment! (child care available)
Seniors can improve their Ball striking without even swinging a club. We'll show you how!
Competitive juniors can train with PGA professionals and a TPI Certified Fitness Trainer. We will take your game to the next level through Video Analysis, Fitness Training and Fundamental Drills to prepare you for competitive golf on the U.S. Kids Tour, High School Golf or even at the College Level.

Permanent lane restrictions are installed on SR 21 and on SR 241 over SR 21 beginning May 15, 2009and remaining in effect until November 2009. Detours are available.
