Just played at The Legends for the first time and will definitely go back. One of the nicest public courses around. The greens were in excellent condition. This course has a country club feel and is a real value when you use the site.

If I could give more than 5 stars for value on this course I would. I came to visit a buddy in Akron, I would've payed $50 and been happy.

I played this course on Thursday July 24. The course is in great shape! The greens are in great shape. The overall course is very nice for a course that is run by the city. The staff was friendly and the starter went our of his way to give us some hints on the course. It was only a 75 minute drive from Youngstown and well worth it.

If you are anywhere close to this course then its a must play. With 27 holes the place of play is nice, plus each 9 has a uniqueness to it, so it's never boring. The staff is great and course is in very nice condition. The greens are huge, so don't be afraid to fire past most of the pins. (I left myself way too many 40 footers short of the pin). There is plenty of water and creeks that run across the fairways, so you have to think your way around this course a little more, which like. KUDOs to a city run course that has pride in their product.

Played this course on 8/15 and enjoyed both layout and conditioning. Excellent value. Greens are challenging, very large with plenty of undulation.

We recently golfed in Myrtle Beach and your course and greens are in better condition that any course we golfed. Also, just a week ago we golfed at a local course and we will not be going back anytime soon because of the conditions. Greens and fairways were all burned out.
